8 Naughty (but-nice) Valentine’s Day Cocktail Ideas

Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate love and romance, but it doesn’t always have to be sweet and innocent. If you’re looking to add a little bit of spice to your Valentine’s Day celebrations, try one of these eight cocktails with (slightly) naughty names.

1. Valentine’s Day Cocktail Ideas – Porn Star Martini

The Pornstar Martini is a sensual and playful cocktail with a cheeky name that’s perfect for Valentine’s Day.

60ml Gin
15ml Lime Juice
15ml Simple Syrup
15ml Pineapple Juice
1 Passionfruit

Method: add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with some ice. Shake vigorously, then pour into your favourite martini glass! I topped with the empty Passionfruit shell, but you can add one with the pulp still inside.

2. Valentine’s Day Cocktail Ideas – Dirty Martini

The dirty martini is perhaps one of the most cocktails of all time. This classic cocktail is comprised of gin, vermouth, olive juice, and garnished with olives. A sophisticated Valentine’s cocktail idea with a cheeky name.

Ingredients

• 15ml vermouth
• 60ml vodka
• 15ml brine from olives or capers (or both)
• ice cubes
• 3–4 skewered olives, to garnish
• 3­–4 caperberries, to garnish

Add vermouth, vodka and brine to a mixing jug filled with ice. Stir to chill. Using a strainer, pour into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with olives or caperberries.

3. Valentine’s Day Cocktail Ideas – Sex On The Beach

A sex on the beach is an alcoholic cocktail containing vodka, peach schnapps, orange juice and cranberry juice.

The alcohol-free variation is sometimes referred to as “safe sex on the beach”, “cuddles on the beach”, or “virgins on the beach”.

4. Valentine’s Day Cocktail Ideas – Screaming Orgasm

The Screaming Orgasm Cocktail is not exactly what one would call a classy drink. But perfect if you like creamy, rich, sweet drinks that could almost be a Valentine’s dinner dessert!

There are many different versions of this drink. Some served shaken and on the rocks, others layered. And there’s also a shot version.

• Vodka
• Coffee liqueur eg. Kalhùa
• Amaretto eg. Disaronno
• Irish cream eg. Baileys
• Single cream
• Whole milk

5. Valentine’s Day Cocktail Ideas – The Love Bite

The Love Bite is a cocktail that’s sure to leave a lasting impression. To make this drink, shake 2 ounces of raspberry vodka, 1 ounce of cranberry juice, 1/2 ounce of lime juice, and 1/2 ounce of simple syrup in a shaker with ice. Strain into a glass and garnish with a raspberry and a lime twist.

6. Valentine’s Day Cocktail Ideas – The Seductress

The Seductress is a cocktail that’s sure to make your partner swoon. With champagne, chilled passion fruit purée, chilled ginger syrup (Add a Tbsp. grated fresh ginger to 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar. Boil until thickened to a syrup consistency), chilled Aperol and red rose petals for the garnish (optional)

How to make:

• Chill a champagne flute
• Fill with Champagne
• Add chilled passion fruit purée, ginger syrup and Aperol

7. Valentine’s Day Cocktail Ideas – The French Kiss

The French Kiss is a cocktail that’s sure to ignite the spark of romance. To make this drink, shake 2 ounces of cognac, 1 ounce of raspberry liqueur, 1/2 ounce of lime juice, and 1/2 ounce of simple syrup in a shaker with ice.

8. Valentine’s Day Cocktail Ideas – Red Hot Valentine’s Day Shots

These stunning little red Valentine’s Day shots combine Fireball, cherry vodka, grenadine, pearl dust, red sugar, and candy hearts, and are guaranteed to put you in the mood for romance — or at least another shot. Perfect after dinner shot that guaranteed to get the party started.

• 1 Part Fireball
• 1 Part Cherry Vodka
• Splash Grenadine
• Pearl Dust
• Red Sugar
• Candy Hearts

How to make
1. Rim edge of shot glass with red sugar.
2. In an ice filled glass add fireball, cherry vodka, grenadine and pearl dust. Stir to combine.
3. Strain mix into shot glasses and garnish with candy heart.
