13 Halloween Party Ideas | Your Guide to Spooky Entertaining

Love it or loathe it Halloween really is just another good excuse for a party! What we love about Halloween is that there is so much scope for fun and creative entertaining ideas. From kid-friendly treat platters to scarily good cocktails for the grown-ups (and let’s face it, if you have been dealing with little monsters who have way too much sugar, you will need a good drink!)

Planning your party doesn’t need to be complicated, and it’s often the simplest ideas that work the best, so we have put together 13 Halloween party ideas to guarantee a spooktacular good time!

13 Halloween Party Ideas #1 Biccie Board

We are just a little bit in love with this oh so pretty Halloween biccie board by @stephaniehannablog. Still very Halloween themed, but with pretty pastel colours and the cutest ice biscuits by @royallyiced. A sweet treat serving board is bound to be a winner with both adults and kids alike. Perfect for a family party when you don’t want to go too scary with little kids around, but still want your food to be on theme. The inclusion of macaroons, mini marshmallows, chocolate chips and meringues means that there is something for everyone.

13 Halloween Party Ideas #4: Monster Cocktail Stirrer

Kids got too many Halloween lollies? Why not relieve them of some of that sugar and create one of these fun Halloween themed cocktail stirrers. All you need is a wooden skewer, and some packets of lollies and off you go!

You could create a shorter version to fit in our Stemless Martini Glass, or a longer version would work particularly well in our Copper Moscow Mule Mug. Now all that is left to do is think about what cocktail this could be added too…..

13 Halloween Party Ideas #5: White Pumpkins

Can Halloween be classy? Sure! Long gone are the days of bright green punch and fake blood. You can now create Halloween boards with sophisticated pastel colour pallets, and white simplicity. Although they are not always the easiest to find in the supermarket, white pumpkins look super chic and are perfect if you are an arty type who likes to draw on their pumpkins rather than carve a design.

13 Halloween Party Ideas #6: Zombie Cocktail

Drinkers beware…..legend says that the first person who tried this strong cocktail felt like a zombie for days afterwards. Not a drink for the faint hearted, this rather strong cocktail has 3 different types of rum in it!

To make this drink you will need

Light rum, dark rum, apricot liqueur, orange juice, dash of lime Bitters, 1 handful ice, shot of Bacardi 151 Rum, orange slice and cherry for garnish.

Directions

  1. Combine light rum, dark rum, apricot liqueur, orange juice, and bitters using a cocktail shaker.
  2. Pour into a large glass filled with ice. Top with the shot of Bacardi 151, then garnish with the orange slice and cherry.

This tiki style citrus cocktail would work very well in our Copper Moscow Mule Mugs, which would be perfect for keeping them super chilled. Why not add some Copper Drinking Straws to complete the look.
